Confirmed Service Customer
Had gotten a message one time, said need brake pads. I reset it & did not see it again. Approximately 1 week later called set up appointment. Another week later took vehicle in for service, mileage just over 60K. About 6 hrs. later, Rodolfo Zavala called me said brake pads were good. However mechanic found a code problem that was causing the message to come up and it would cost me $300.00 to reset the computer code. I said no to reset, as 300 I felt was too much. After some discussion, Rodolfo, said how about $100.00? That raised red flags for me, and again refused. After more discussion I told him I was selling the truck to a friend & would talk to him to see if he would pay half of the $100.00. Rodolfo ended up telling me the truth was that the mechanic had already performed the search , found the problem, & reset the code, before I could be reached by phone to okay the fix. Therefore, he told me it would be N/C which I was displeased with the way he handled it, but thanked him for finally admitting the truth & for not charging me for the fix. However, since I picked up the truck, I now get a message to check the back seat every time I turn vehicle off. I feel this was done intentionally to get back at me, however I also told him him I was selling my truck, what I did not say is I was going to buy a brand new one at All American Chevy, but due to this, I am buying a Ford instead, so thanks for showing me how trustworthy you are. I was a happy customer and I have given good reviews in the past. I forgive them, I just don't trust anymore.
